David Hogg, President of Springwood Real Estate Services, was named one of the Movers and Shakers of 2007 by the Central Penn Business Journal. An individual who makes Central Penn Business Journal’s list of Movers and Shakers is one “who makes things happen, who has influence with local authorities, who is sought out for advice, and who makes major commitments to their communities through time and charitable giving”.
He has helped Springwood to become the leader in the development of affordable housing for seniors in York County. Springwood’s hotels also control more of the Metro York hotel market than any other company.
Serving the York Area Community is important to Mr. Hogg. His professional and community service includes: Chairman, York County Convention and Visitors Bureau; Chairman of the Charitable Endowment Fund Committee for the Rotary Club of York; Chairman, David H. Hogg Family Foundation; Vice Chairman, Creation of a Nation Museum Committee, City of York; Manager of York Little League® 2007 “Majors Division” champion Cardinals; Board Member and facilities committee member, Logos Academy; founding member and worship team member, New Life Presbyterian Church, York; member of the senders group for Young Life of York County at York Suburban High School; Coach, Spring Garden Township 13U youth baseball team.
David was “surprised” to be so recognized by the Central Penn Business Journal, even as he continues to help lead the way in the development of York County.
